The only person at the bus stop when Sebastian arrived was a boy about his age. He was rocking back and forth on his feet as he looked around the clearing, his eyes lighting up when he spied Sebastian. "Hey," he said, running a hand through his light brown hair. "You must be Sebastian! I'm Sam. I moved to town while you were away."

"Maybe not. But I know you're going to be really good at it," Sebastian says encouragingly for the hundredth time. "Plus, Vin and Jas are ten, they still watch kids shows…" Sam raises an eyebrow at him. "Okay, maybe not little kid's shows anymore but still… you've been around that kind of music for ten years. So, thinking like a kid should be easy for you." Sebastian smirks.
"Hey!" Sam protests, swatting Sebastian's arm, then sighs. "Fuck, I know you're right. I just have to think of it as a stepping stone. Get my foot in the door, build up contacts and networking and shit. I just… I can't keep working at Joja."
"I know," Sebastian says quietly. He pulls away, just enough to release his hold around Sam's shoulders but still stays pressed against his side. "Now the fun will begin of planning to move here."
Or
Sam applies for a job in Zuzu City. If he gets it, he'll need to figure out a place to stay.

"Bar," she answers. "Sorry, why are you late?"
Sam groans again. "Couldn't find any hair gel, so I couldn't do anything with my hair. Took me forever to find this so I could at least hide it." Sam purses his lips to the side for a brief moment. "Does it look bad?"
A smirk slowly curls the side of her mouth. "Ask Seb that."

Sam can't find his hair gel. Hope Seb doesn't mind his solution.

The question had Sam’s head whipping around to look at Vincent with wide eyes, the look on his face softening at the worried little frown on the boy’s face. “Where is this coming from Vin?”
Vincent gave a little shrug, silent as he continued to stare out onto the horizon.

And bag of chips and… is that a fucking sock?… that she pulls out onto his bed was enough to make him scratch his head.
She nearly empties out the contents of the second pouch before she finds what she was looking for. "Ha! There you are!"
