“I’m not embarrassed,” Peter rushes to defend himself, “I just… I don’t know. It’s weird. I live here. We’re basically going on a tour of my house. And half my classmates don’t believe that I’ve even stepped foot in the tower, so they’re all going to be weird about it tomorrow, and it’s… it’s weird. But I’m not embarrassed.”
“Great! If you’re not embarrassed, you don’t mind if I tag along, right?”
His eyes widen, and he gapes, mouth opening and closing wordlessly like a fish out of water. He thinks about Mr Stark meeting Dr Grace, and decides the longer he can go without an impromptu teacher-parent meeting, the better.

Apollo was quickly loading his sons and daughters, along with some special guests in the Sun Chariot, as the party for the Winter Solstice was blurring the lines between festivities and debaucheries. A part of him knew that his twin sister was doing a similar thing with her hunters and the Moon Chariot. And given the stealth of this certain quest, he was already zooming out of the horizon from the Empire State Building before his beloved father could throw faults and blame on his way.
Bishamonten had to agree, being able to take a vacation from… well everything is a nice change for once. After that night, and everything after, she can't help but still feel the emptiness, her once massive household reduced to but a few. So many of them perished, and so little of them have survived. But… she can't help but feel guilty and relieved at the revelations that happened that night.

Summary
Tommy Innes is doomed. After the untimely death of his mother, his last living biological family member, he's sent off to a boarding school for troubled kids. This school in particular, The Powers' Academy for Student Reformation, is supposed to take Tommy and turn him into the perfect kid. Within his first weeks at school Tommy will make friends with other tortured youth, forge a few enemies, and avoid meeting with the Headmaster. Things go wrong fast, as they tend to do for Tommy, and one of his first friends is found with her skull cracked open. The school chocks it up to suicide, but when it seems like the students start dropping like flies, it's up to Tommy and his friends to figure out whats going on. Luckily for Tommy he's the new kid, and the deaths begin happening after he shows up. No one trusts him, and he's not sure who he's able to trust either.
