Sören is in love with both of them but doesn't want to ruin their friendship. Little does he know the feeling is mutual, and that the feelings "Mark" has for him aren't the only secret he's keeping.

Anthony and his partner Mark drive from near-Seattle to LA and back to rescue Anthony's best friend Sören from an abusive living situation, and let him stay with them for awhile on their ranch. But Sören also needs rescuing from himself, as he comes to terms with unhealthy habits like self-medicating trauma instead of dealing with it. The struggle of finding one's way again is something "Mark" is painfully familiar with, for he has been wandering the world for eons, living with grief and regret. And soon there is a new pain, that of trying to hold back feelings so Sören can have time and space to heal.
