Techno’s life feels full in a way it hasn’t since he left home, barely an adult. Despite Wilbur looking for an apartment nearby, insistent on moving out with Fundy, being an adult again, it doesn’t feel like he’s losing anything.
Plus, he knows if all else fails, he still has Tommy living with him. Loud, frustrating, sweet, wonderful Tommy. Techno wonders how he got so lucky, to find this kid, bring this light into his life that just refuses to stop shining.
“You in there?” Wilbur raps his knuckles on Techno’s forehead, not unkindly. “Much to think about?”
“Yeah,” Techno shrugs, wiping the sweat from his brow, refusing to elaborate silently. He knows Wilbur wouldn’t judge or make fun of him, but it’s still vulnerability, and Techno’s been told he’s allergic. “Let’s get this done, before Tommy gets home.”
“Alright, Mr. Stoic,” Wilbur teases gently. “Let’s do.”

Phil recognizes the half-started sentence from before. He tilts his head to see into Techno’s face.
“I didn’t want you to see me. Here.” Techno’s free hand jerks up to knot its fingers in his bloodstained shirt. “Like…” His words trail off, hidden in an exhale. With sisyphean effort, he drags his gaze from the wood shavings to Phil’s face.
“...Like this.” Phil whispers for him.

Hypixel is a land of fighters and nobility—entertainment and wealth. The kingdom collects its warriors for the rings through any means, and doesn't draw the line at stealing people away from their homes.
Technoblade is a champion, best of Hypixel's best, kidnapped and wrought into a menacing, bloody machine... and his family wants him back.

“Shit!” Techno barks out, and the kid cackles, rolling out from under him, hopping to his feet. He makes to jump the fence. “That was a dirty move!”
“I don’t fight clean,” The kid tells him, cheeky. “Clean fighters lose, yeah? I think I’ll be headed out now.”
“At least give me the hint,” Techno groans, rolling over into his stomach to glare the kid down.
“Hmm,” The kid puts a finger to his chin, mockingly. Techno doesn’t appreciate it, but he’s a little incapacitated right now. “Starts with a T. See you, Technoblade!”
“Wait-” Techno starts, but the kid doesn’t hesitate as he launches himself over the fence and into who-knows-where. Techno sighs, long, as the pain finally subsides, and he stands, brushing the dirt and dust off his front.
Techno finds himself smiling. It’s been a while since someone got the jump on him. He still doesn’t know what about that kid, exactly, set him off the way it did, but he’ll be damned if he doesn’t figure it out.

Technoblade hears voices. This is not as bad as it seems.
Chat is loud and annoying but overall they’re not that bad. Some of them are bloodthirsty and keep trying to get him to kill every single person he meets. Most of them are chill though. They mostly just describe what he’s doing very loudly and sometimes there’s a mention of “crumbs” and “food”. He wonders if they’re starving somehow and being in his head is feeding them. If so, he guesses he’ll just have to do as little things as possible so they can starve a bit. What can he say? He just sometimes enjoys seeing people suffer, even if these people are bodiless amalgamations that live inside his head.
