Title says it all, really - a collection of 'missing adventure'-style one-shots loosely tied together by that theme.
Mostly Twelve/Clara, with some Twelve & Bill and Twelve & Brig, and some multi-Doctor stories. Mostly fluff, some angst because the Doc's a mopey old Time Lord, after all, but always a happy ending, and the usual crack-ish Who ridiculousness.
Everything is T-rated, settings range from early season 8 to post-s10 AUs.

Silco is a wealthy industrialist who makes a deal with Piltover to open trade with Zaun, in which his own diplomatic dealings are just to gain more power and undermine Piltover. He purchases an old mansion in the wealthiest part of of Piltover in hopes of raising his ward to give her a better life than he had, including looking for a wife to blend in with his new surroundings, a masquerade game of lies.
He never anticipates you, his new governess, hired by Sevika for his young ward, Jinx.
A young woman in house that has more questions than answers. A strange and hidden creature lurks in the attic. A man, that should be fighting for Zaun as he once did, is now mingling with his sworn enemies and this close to buying a seat on the Council. A man, who is an enigma, raising a girl who isn't his and you finding him more and more intoxicating as you fall into his world of shady politics.

Summary

There were far too many things I desired; I thirsted for much beyond my paltry grasp, and while it is true that I had taken him between my fingers and exposed all vulnerability under the warm august sun: that sun soon caused sparks to kindle and crack, and he melted to shadow while my fingers broke under the pressure of holding on. The arrow of Eros missed; or perhaps it was never fired at all: but something was certainly off about the way it struck me. All I remember was that, one day, his words no longer reached me, and I felt sharp sting in my heart and a sinking feeling that something had changed.

A little while ago in my English Literature class, we were given the task to write a piece of creative fiction inspired by Jane Eyre and Charlotte Brontë's writing style, so I decided to write a this piece; the story of the folklore love triangle written in the style of Jane Eyre.
