Summary
A dumping ground for concepts/ideas regarding Azula-centric ATLA AUs that I don't have time to fully develop (at least for now), including AUs based off my fics like Red Water, Azure Flame.
This is a spontaneous dump of writing (some of which will be copied from replies to comments of my own fics). If you'd like to write/draw something based on any of my ideas, just credit me for inspiration first. I'm always open to talking about any of these.

Summary
Azula is ten years old the first time someone tries to kill her. It's her birthday, and the Fire Nation is not just celebrating her reaching her first full decade of life, but also the tenth anniversary of the execution of the latest Earth Kingdom Avatar. He was killed on Azula's birthday, as her mother lay in her labor bed.
The Fire Sages say that it was an auspicious sign, being born on such an important day in the Fire Nation's history.
Her mother can scarcely look her in the eyes, sometimes.
In which Aang dies -- temporarily -- while in the iceberg, and Azula is born as the Avatar. The world shifts three steps to the left.

Azula's hand swept far above the basin, yet the water flew from the bowl, spilling onto the ground, shining in the silver moonlight. Time stood still for a moment, and Iroh's heart skipped a beat. "I need a teacher." His niece whispered so quietly, Iroh almost didn't hear her, "I-" Her voice broke. "I can't control it anymore. I'm always looking over my shoulder, afraid, but the Avatar spirit won't let me hide. So, here I am. Help me, Uncle."
"You are the Avatar." The words left his mouth as though the air had been punched from his gut. Azula winced, looking away. Iroh's world turned upside down. This would mean the Earth Avatar had died in Ba-Sing-Se long before his siege at the wall. Lu Ten's death was for naught. Iroh clenched his jaw. No, losing Lu Ten led him to a girl who needed his guidance.

Summary
Azula is forced to flee the palace after multiple attempts at her life, which she thinks is caused by a secret conspiracy against her. With this she goes to the only people she trusts (trusts are too useless to be involved, that is): her brother and uncle, who have been looking for the Avatar for years.
Little does any of them know, Azula is the Avatar, and the only conspiracy is that of her father, who got word of her airbending without her knowledge.
With the help of their uncle, the twelve year old ghost of an airbending Avatar, a Waterbender they totally didn't kidnap, her brother, a surprisingly violent lemur, and others, can a conflicted Azula and Zuko realize the injustices of their father and stop him before it's too late?

Zuko swallows thickly. “You don’t think-”

Being the favored heir hurt. Not because she didn’t want it no, quite the opposite, Azula hated that she was the heir because she was a prodigy and the second son. She wasn’t Ozai’s son, being called that made her want to throw up and cry. So, at the age of 8, she ran away, quickly changing her name to a name that fit her. Azula.
She did not expect to survive by being picked up by a group of surviving air nomads, nor did she expect to turn out to be the avatar, but wonderfully for her, fate has a way of screwing everything up.On hold due to college kicking my butt! This is not abandoned!

Summary
It’s a story that has been told before: two young siblings find the Avatar, a young Air Nomad that had been trapped in the ice for a hundred years. The siblings would then go on to accompany the Avatar on a quest that would restore balance to the world.
But this is not the same story. The siblings do find the Avatar, but it is not the young Air Nomad. Instead, the Avatar they found was a Fire Nation princess. For her, restoring balance to the world was the last thing on her mind, yet destiny (and some very annoying Water Tribe peasants) had pointed her towards this path.

Crown Imperial Prince Azulon II, who has infamously only been publicly seen on the battlefield, will finally debut in the Imperial Palace's public affairs.
He was heralded as the most prodigious Fire Bender in all recorded history. The most eligible alpha bachelor has yet to claim a mate and is rumoured to have not shared any of his ruts with an omega. He will soon celebrate 21 years of age and be officially named heir to the throne. Nobility and royalty from lands near and as far as across the seas have their daughters escorted to the Imperial Palace in hopes of garnering favour with the Imperial Prince and being part of the royal family.
But first, he must show his worth to Azulon I before he can be named heir. By establishing the Avatar as the Supreme Lord of all the Land.
