A second after the prophecy is delivered, the sky clears and the fires are extinguished all at once. The Titan’s jaw closes with a thud.
“Good luck, little hero!” Foolish-the-disembodied-voice says in his usual voice, cheery and full of life.
Etoiles feels so dizzy. “Not a hero,” he protests as he sits up straight, leaning back onto his haunches. “Just a guy doing good things for people.”
Etoiles, the not-hero, gets targeted by a not-so-happy god. There is joy that comes of it (as there is sadness), but most importantly: there are three stupidly absurd trials.

(First fic, so criticism is appreciated :] )
After being infected, he felt the feeling of being weak, which wasn't normal for him when he was still a slime to bounce back.
But now as part code, he felt everything that he wasn't used to, hunger.
He started to get the hang of it, eating when he needs to, only for him to eat some steak for a snack one night thinking he'll stop on one.
He ate five cows, making the owner of the pen talking about making barriers to it.
but today was a bad day for him as he wasted food because of him sprinting everywhere to follow his huevo, only for her to disappear under his nose.
So with an empty stomach he accidentally goes crazy because of a random code for trying to hurt the eggs.

Short summary?Code!slime gets hungry, and retaliates to a random code and leaves the other quesadillas people confused and concerned without explaining anything.

Charlie stands to his full height, the pain lacing his body quickly forgotten at the mere implication of Juanaflippa in danger.
“Did they see you?” He asks, his voice eerily low. She shakes her head.
“We can’t stay here. They must be monitoring this whole site,” Charlie says as he steps to his tools chest and rummages through, retrieving the only diamond blade he owns, "Phil can help us. We became really close over the past 2 weeks, he was the leader of our team. They are like a second family and I know they’ll be there for us." Flippa’s eyes flash with an eager, artificial glimmer as she nods.
“Stay behind me, okay?” Charlie instructs, watching his daughter nod in understanding and creep into his shadow, her eyes glowing an eerily bright green in the shade. His hand grips the wobbly knob of his door as he glances behind one last time, giving her a reassuring nod. She returns it with a smile.
Charlie turns back around just as he opens the door and takes a step out—— and nearly walks right into Cucurucho.
OR: Charlie returns to Eggxile immediately after Purgatory to find 'Flippa' and is ambushed and kidnapped by the Federation.

He hadn't expected his infection to worsen, not after spending so much time in purgatory without problems. But as soon as the boat was nearer to Quesadilla Island, he’d felt the uneasy static rising up his throat and the familiar, numb, cold feeling return to his fingers. He already felt the fatigue of the island, the aching loneliness.
When Flippa was here, he was okay. When Flippa was here, he could ignore the static in his head, ignore how much he missed their cozy wall hole, ignore all the flaws in Flippas’ little shell.
What he couldn't ignore, was his splitting head(ache) and the federation workers knocking at the door.

Or; The island recognizes Charlie more as Gegg then Charlie.
Also, the second chapter is inspired by the fic "5 things Flippa learned about her dad and 1 thing she already knew" and one of Charlie's abilities in the story, I highly recommend this story! It's extremely good :D

However, in Charlie's life, things are never as good as they seem, and everything nice always has a consequence for him.
