Summary

You were given two choices; serve your life sentence in prison or take your chance at rehabilitation for SDN. Wanting to keep your own organs in tact, you chose the latter.
And not only are your days and nights spent in reformation amongst former villains not unlike yourself, not only is your every call left in the hands of a stranger, but your cravings grow stronger. The hunger, the thirst, the unbridled lust for another's viscera deep in the crevices of your teeth, it only swells like a bruise. The blood bags are barely keeping you together anymore. After defeating Shroud, Invisigal struggles to find who she really is, and whether or not she's a hero. Meanwhile, Robert has to find a balance between dispatching and Mecha-Man, while struggling with his decision to spare Shroud. They might just figure it out, together. -

“Co-leaders?” Robert echoes back, raising an eyebrow at the lack-for-better-word term. His smile grows when Chase huffs in frustration, old-man dreads a cloud that pollutes his scrunched face.

“Yeah? Well, you better just put your ass back on that monitor.” Chase snaps. The shift in his tone is palpable pain; an obvious warning that makes Robert straighten in his seat, though he would never admit it. “Laugh at me all you want; this woman has evaded the Z-Team twice, so you need to crack her down today. Every time you let her slip? That’s another opportunity for her to get more dangerous.”
The unspoken words linger like a draft in the air. Robert hears and feels them all the same; She can kill the team. She can kill you. Don’t be a fool.
