Summary
The bomb is strapped to some kind of weird machine deep in a Comansys lab. No one knows what the machine does, but it's made of the sort of materials that could poison half the UK if they were to be blown apart by a bomb and released into the atmosphere. Hence Five's foray into a new and exciting career of explosive ordnance disposal.
A career that she is in no way suited for, as it turns out.
The bomb explodes, Five's vision fades, and returns, in another time.

Summary
Five is a librarian at Abel Primary School. It looks like it's going to be another ho-hum boring day when .... what's this? There's a new Year One teacher! His name is Sam Yao and he gets Five all kinds of flustered.
Characters MOSTLY from S1, but there are a few guest appearances from later season characters. Minor spoilers for late S4/S5 villain.
Look, this is dumb. Lol. And self indulgent as it is based on MANY events in my own life. Except, I work for an American elementary school and have very little knowledge of school systems in England, save for what I learned in Matilda. For those purposes, Abel Primary is a private school that plays by its own rules.
This is an alternate universe and an opportunity to test how well I know these characters. Can I translate their voices to a whole new setting? We're gonna find out.
I have 3 or 4 more chapters planned but not written. This is truly just a lighthearted summer project to keep me writing.

A self-contained story arc covering the time after S1-17 but before S1-19.
An untouched electronics cache, a missing Runner, a pair of strange new survivors... Five's got their work cut out untangling this lot.
Not to mention Twelve has her demons to wrestle, Three's got a mission of his own involving PVC pipes and a lot of glue, Eight is weirdly determined to track down a pack of banana Nesquik, Ten got hold of a box of clicker-counters and is pressing them on everybody, and Jack and Eugene have a new idea for a radio segment.
Zoms aside, life goes on, as does the rain. Five's hoping for some sunshine soon.
What is bothering Five, they realise, as they pass through the opening in the fence, was that all the questions Jack and Eugene have thought up are designed to make Five talk about themselves. When all Five wants to do is to talk about how amazing everyone else is: how brave, courageous, thoughtful, strong, inspiring…
Actually scratch that. Five just wants to talk.

It's pretty much a rewrite of a few episodes under the premise of both Five and Sam being genetically altered dogs, a lot of exposition is in the notes.
