The Dateviators did in fact make it so you could talk to your household objects and various concepts, but what you hadn’t expected was that they wouldn’t be fully functional. Meaning that you would encounter glitches.
Well—a specific glitch, to be exact.
Daemon had piqued your interest early on, after all, you were most curious about the things that lived within the privacy of your bedroom. That was your favorite room in the house, so it was only natural that you explored it first. Dorian had told you not to talk to your dresser, but hey, he was a talking door!
And you were never very good at following instructions anyways.
