Fairytales and love stories go hand-in-hand with divine coincidence. Fate always plays a very particular part in things like love at first sight and star-crossed lovers. And, looking back from the far future, Harry had to believe it was fate who intervened in his life right then.
Harry Potter has no clear direction or plan for his life. He's a hopeless and lonely romantic and he can't hold a job to save his life. The day he spots a particularly special personal ad in the newspaper will be the one to change all that. It's just supposed to be a fake relationship, but we all know those never turn out the way they should.

It was in a grand room, dressed in blacks and reds, that the auction was held.
There were many seats, each taken by a masked buyer, and each looked on in curiosity as the next auction was brought out. The velvet curtains were pulled back, and the spotlight turned on, illuminating the dark which had settled over the stage. In the light was a figure, their wrists bound together by two metal cuffs, a chain connecting them to the shackle around their neck. A white veil was settled over their head, but chin length, bright red hair could be seen peeking out.
“The merchandise in today’s auction is quite rare,” announced the auctioneer, and quite a few of the participants gasped or muttered under their breath. For it was today, a Slay Vega was to be sold.
A Slay Vega, dearest child of the night… a wizard’s blessing.
“Starting from 100!”

Summary
Long fiction from Albus' pov and Scorpius' pov. Scorbus. The events in the Cursed Child will take place in forth year. It's mostly canon-compliant, the first chapters being rewritten from Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, but then the chapters are written by myself.
Extremely slow burn, it literally takes ages, but it is worth it.
Also, it's my first time writing on ao3 :) English isn't my first language so if I make any spelling mistakes dont hesitate to tell me-

This piece focusses on a fan fictional perspective of Delphini Riddle and James Sirius Potter as though they had a history of a relationship with one another. When Delphini's superiors tell her to stay away from James, and James' family tell him to break up with Delphini, she finds out that the reasoning behind it all is that James' grandmother Molly Weasley was the one who used the killing curse on Delphi's mother.
