Summary
William had never been attracted to a woman before he met Sacharissa, and it hadn't been entirely clear to him what was going on at first. By the time he figured it out, she was getting married to Otto, who was under absolutely no illusions about finding her heaving bosoms affecting (and who William maybe, possibly, carried a little torch for too*).
Determined to endure his heartbreak with dignity, William finds himself being swept off his feet by an increasingly frustrated pair of co-workers who are tired of waiting around for him to figure things out.

Now with the rise of Sauron starting up again, a group of dwarf-led resistance fighters have to struggle against the imperialism from the West and the darkness seeping into their homeland.

But rings of power are not so easily forgotten and this one... This one wanted to be found. Deep within Erebor a tiny magical rune, one of many etched into the metal that disguised the ring, flickered and began to dim.

To lose your one is a pain unimaginable, to curse yourself and your kingdom as a result is foolishness, but the Valar are more forgiving, and justice will be served.
Over many years, the lives that Thorin had developed for his family in the Blue Mountains will be changed forever, because the feeling of one's soulmate is not one that can be forgotten.
Thorin's One is found dead, dear sweet Bilbo, murdered. A story spanning several decades following the path of trying to bring justice to the Dwarf. Life can be breathed back into the abandoned kingdom of Erebor, fallen under a curse brought onto them by Prince Thorin, in retribution for Bilbo's death.(Re-write of my old fic named 'we shall not rest, nor find peace)

Summary

Reeling in the aftermath, she wanders out in search of solitude and finds someone else instead.
At first, she does not know what to think of her new friendship with Eadwulf, a young man from Rohan stationed in the Hornburg. Despite all her ingrained distrust, she finds herself opening up to him more and more as their friendship deepens. But when a threat arises from neighboring Dunland, leaving Frai in a locked-down Aglarond and Eadwulf on the front lines in the Hornburg, she realizes that her feelings run much deeper than she ever imagined.

Narvi arrives in Khazad-dûm with plans to learn all she can and give the dwarves of Khazad-dûm all the knowledge she can manage in return. Instead she finds herself befriending the third Durin, falling in love with a master craftsman nearly twice her height, creating masterpieces that carve her name into the minds and hearts of generations, and making moves through the song of the world that shake Middle Earth to its very core.
She never expected that the Elf she met though their shared love of the songs of metal and stone would be so important to her story.

Kelben sits up, crossing their legs beneath them and shivering at the cool stone below their buttocks and against their ankles. The air around them is warm but the floor is not, and the difference feels strange. They are used to warm air and warm stone, or cold air and cold stone, and the difference between air and ground suggests a recent fire.
“Are you making something?” Kelben asks the shapeless voice, and the deep voice they cannot see chuckles as if it holds an avalanche within.
“I just did,” their Maker says, vast and amused. “I made you.”
OR
Mahal may breathe life into their children, but they choose their own songs as they walk Arda. By the time they die, they may not wish for the body he gave them, wrought with care on his great anvil.
Mahal very quickly grows used to reforging their children's bodies twice when they enter his Halls.
