Summary
As Irving took the first steps down the stairs, his excitement was overwritten by a looming sense of dread, slowly crawling to him from behind. He heard laughter again. Irving slowly traveled downwards, inching closer to him.
It was a calling. An unexplained pull. It was a feeling that the root of his woes were there, or the very reason that half of him felt like he was missing someone. Both sides yearned, since his reintegration, but one was particularly loud in its want to ease it. When he turned the corner and met the eyes of his arrived guest, he stopped, feet planted where they were.
AKA
When you reintegrate and remember your heartbreak--and it breaks your heart the second time that you get physically sick, and realize your father's influence on your life has not been very excellent.
