Vox grits his teeth with a growl and directs his glare back to Lucifer. “Listen here you royal piece of shit.” He starts as his claws harshly poke at the glass separating them with every word. “I own you now. You have no power in this situation. You understand?”
Lucifer is yet again confused about what exactly Vox wants from all this as he sighs. “Yeah you mentioned that but the thing is..I really don’t care.”
The man in front of him is a perfect mixture of baffled and furious at his blasé attitude. “Well you should!”
“Mmmm, says who?” Lucifer asks with a confused tilt of his head.
“Wha- says me!” Vox shouts, grip on his composure slipping. “You should care because I said so!”
“My, quite the compelling argument.” Alastor interjects snidely.
“Alastor, shut the fuck up.” Vox scowls at the radio demon.
OR:
Lucifer ragebaits too close to the sun and causes Vox to put him on the guest list for his Heaven take over party to prove to him he's not a failure.

Alastor and Lucifer are beyond exhausted after making it through Vox’s failed attempt at destroying Pentagram City and taking over Heaven. Alastor is injured, both from Adam all that time ago, and Shock.wav. Lucifer is practically bled dry from being used as an angelic battery for Vox’s weapon.
Yet the Devil still wants to help the obviously-bleeding Radio Demon. Despite Alastor not wanting it, lest Lucifer end up in an even worse state.

Like all those times before, he felt the electricity build until it felt like pure lightning in his veins. As if his very blood had been replaced with electrical currants.
Just like all those times before, he felt the machine draining him. As if it were stealing his very essence and fruitlessly trying to replenish it with pure energy.
It didn’t help that with these new cords, the electricity was flowing through his body. It felt like bees under his skin, in his muscles, flying around and stinging everything in their path. Sharp. Painful. Burning.
(He swore his organs were cooking from how hot it was.)
The feeling stopped but all he could do was breathe deeply, trying to make sure he didn’t pass out. He could vaguely make out voices above him, something about “overloading a weapon” and “making shots count”, but Lucifer’s brain was too fuzzy to put it together.

Velvette reaches out her hand, palm up, and after a beat, Alastor takes it, squeezing it. “I’m not going back,” Angel bristled slightly. Didn’t they see? He had spied on them for almost a year, relaying everything back to Vox, letting him know about Lucifer, letting himself attack Cherri; he was not going back! Alastor seemed unbothered by his protestation, granted the radio demon was generally unbothered except when it came to Lucifer and Vox. The latter Angel understood better than the former.
“Because you don’t trust yourself or because you feel guilty?” Alastor said conversationally, like they were talking bout the weather. The red demon rubbed his hands down the mic in his hands.
Or Alastor appears at the Vee Tower to make Angel Dust a very interesting offer.
