“I don’t have a girlfriend,” Vergil growled, his eyes dark.
“Well, maybe you should get one because you’re kind of a sour assho—”
“Dante! Language!” Eva admonished.
“He needs to lighten up!” Dante jerked a thumb at his brother.
Vergil rolled his eyes. “Arguing with you like this has no meaning.”
“Maybe but it’s too fun to stop.” Dante smacked his brother’s shoulder.
“This reminds me.” Sparda sliced into his steak with perfect etiquette. “You boys need the ‘Talk.’” He bounced his eyebrows impishly.
“Darling, not at the dinner table,” Eva objected, shocked.
Blush bloomed in Vergil’s face.
Dante cocked an eyebrow, eyes wide. “We know how it works, Dad.” He kept his head down, tapping his fork.
“I think Dante needs more than a ‘talk’ regarding that matter.” Vergil smirked vengefully. “Perhaps he should take an entire class.”Recommended for ages 18+ for occasional strong language and sexual content

I've been contemplating a Bloodborne/Devil May Cry crossover for quite some time. This may perhaps be a bit disjointed at times. If so, it's meant to be. Aren't dreams and nightmares that way? Is Sparda's sanity slipping as he continually imbibes blood to escape the bloodstained waking world or is it really all just a nightmare? Will he see the light of dawn? Or will he be cast into the Hunter's Nightmare for sins yet committed? Eva is on the brink of giving birth to twins destined for legend. Will they enter into contracts and become Hunters like their father?
Timelines and lore will be jumbled and mingled. Characters separated by canonical time and events will cross paths here.
Yharnam is dying. Beasts are roaming. Blood is flowing. The Dream is calling. The infant is wailing. The moon is rising.
Fear the Old Blood. May Sparda find his worth in the waking world.
