For as long as she can remember, the Titan Chronos has waged war on the realms; and for as long as she can remember, Melinoe has trained to do one thing- kill him.
Killing Time is easier said than done, however, and rumor has it he's gained control of the three Fates; a death sentence for the forces of Olympus and the Crossroads, if true.
But as with all things the Fates have a hand in, the truth is more complicated than it may seem. Melinoe must navigate a war on three fronts to save the ones she loves most; all of Past, Present, and Future hang in the balance.

Slightly AU, effectively a canon rewrite of Hades II starting from midgame. Eventual MAJOR spoilers for certain character backstories, game events, etc. This should be about 7 chapters, ~30k words all said and done. I have the story outlined, I know where it needs to go, I just need to get there. -

“I did not say that!” Dom said, raising his hands as if that might squash the words. “Shh! Stop it!”
Estelle threw herself on the ground, rolling in the dirt. “HELLO, GODS! IT IS ME, ESTELLE! I HEAR I AM VERY IMPORTANT! AND I AM BEING MURDERED BY THIS MAN!”
Dom swore loudly as he looked around. “For the love of- fuck. Fine. I’ll help you!” he shouted. Estelle stopped her screeching to crack open an eye. “Just stop it, okay? I’ll help you.”
Good. Estelle sat up, dusting herself off.
“That’s very nice of you,” she told him.

Orpheus, a poor boy and the son of a Muse— Calliope, to be specific— wants to change this. And there’s absolutely no reason why he can’t accomplish that goal. Touched by the gods, this boy is. And with the voice of an angel, too. All of his free time is devoted to making a song to bring autumn and spring back. And when he gets an idea, there’s no stopping him, no matter what you do.
Eurydice is a hungry young girl, hungrier than most sorry souls these days. And colder, too. Wind picks up, and she’s off, carrying her candle and small bag of belongings with her to the next place she can get to. She doesn’t have much. No one does, after all. But The Fates, bringers of death and weavers of destiny, seem to follow her around at all times.

John Potter ran his mouth before Voldemort killed him, which put a seed of doubt in the Dark Lord's mind that caused him to reclaim and move his horcruxes to hide them better. This also included a certain imprisoned True Boy Who Lived.
With Harry Potter now being held where it is impossible for Fate and Death to orchestrate his death so they can send him back to fix his brother's screw ups, they are forced to bend their rules in a new way. So, instead of using the idiot once again like John was expecting, because they knew he would screw up worse if they did, Death and Fate decided to aid Harry in a different way.

Denki really connected with a protagonist like "Percy Jackson" in how this character thought about his bullshit even though it broke Denki's heart to hear this awesome character constantly beat himself down in his narrations in the shit that was in his perspective......
