    Warriors loved to talk about his roommate. The chain had heard many stories about him, the mysterious, annoying guy who had fought with Warriors in the War of Ages before starting to live with him. They hadn't gotten the chance to meet him yet, but they were all looking forward to it. Even Legend, who Warriors was pretty sure wouldn't like him immediately.

    Legend's husband has been missing for seven months now. He'd been on this quest for three of them, but each time he went home, Fable had nothing for him but a sad shake of her head. Ravio wasn't a fighter, and Legend wasn't an optimist. He actually would like the chain to meet Ravio, but couldn't bring himself to mention him when there was still no trace of him.

    These two facts are in no way related.

    Link has survived a 100-year coma, fought an uncountable number of monsters more than triple his size, solved puzzles meant to kill, helped seal a giant pig made of Calamity all the while having no memories of before and in the body of a seven-year-old—which, Link would like to state, 100 years ago, he had been a seventeen year old!

    In which no one believes Wild isn't a child, despite some of the clear signs he inhabits.

     

    (Were they simply in denial? Link wondered; sweet Hylia, he knew by his own experience he shouldn't expect perfect cookie-cutter warriors, but still! And they called him weird for his staring problem—yes he knows he lacks some social cues, thank you very much, but he's inclined to blame that on his first month awake and absolutely no memories to his name.)

    Wild really believed he was going to have a peaceful, calm life in Hateno Village for the rest of his days. After transmigrating to an apocalyptic Hyrule to replace a dead hero and absolutely sweeping the game fifty thousand Rupees richer, Wild is ready to kick back and relax. Of course, the world has no intention of letting him have any rest.

    Dying always sucks, but life is considerably different when you’ve died by electrocuting yourself trying to charge your Switch instead of defending a princess to your final breath.
