This was the moment when their lives were supposed to begin, and instead it was all over before it even started.
Dean has lost track of time, it could be days, weeks or months since they defeated Chuck. He doesn't know, and he doesn't care.
Sam was patient at first, sat by his side in bed and talked softly, helped him to the bathroom when Dean was too drunk to stand on his own two feet, and brought him water to dilute the alcohol in his bloodstream.
When that didn't help, he became desperate, he yelled at him, anything to get some kind of reaction. Now it's the silent treatment, the last thing Sam said was that he won't be around to see Dean slowly kill himself.
And that's fine, he shouldn't, because everyone Dean loves and cares about gets killed or worse.

A fic originally inspired by the prompt “I told you so” for CherryBlossomSprings that grew into a (sort of) case fic featuring Sam & Dean being brothers & somewhat incompetent hunters, Rowena being sly & awesome, Sam being a bit oblivious, Dean being soft about Cas, and Dean & Cas being cute together!

“Both of those are a no-go,” Sam said with exasperation as he surveyed the potential ingredients he had in front of him. “Are there any simpler ways to create the counter-goo?”
“There is one more way, but I wouldn’t call it simple even if it requires just three ingredients,” Rowena said calmly, but there was a hint of a smirk in her voice. “It can be made out of holy water, salt, and the blood of an angel defiler.”
“An angel defiler? What the hell?” Sam asked confused, but he did notice a bit of red creeping into his brother’s cheeks.
“Well, Samuel, to put it bluntly: you need the blood of someone who have had sex with an angel,” Rowena laughed.
“Great, then we have the ingredients for that one,” Dean said. -

It's 2021 and there are many, many Winchesters in this world now, more than just the brothers. This family has gone from two, to too much it seems. They all seem to agree that they deserve a vacation, from school, work, everything it seems. Hunting has been on the down low, at first it was weird to them, but now they have accepted their new lives with open arms. Sam and Gabriel suggest they rent a house on the beach and spend a while there, get out of the bunker for once, see new things and new people. It just all works out it's the summer and they got a good deal on the beach house for rent too.

Sam Winchester is 16 years old, a junior in high school. Unlike his brother, Sam is more into academic clubs and is the leader of the Mathletes club. He too is popular in his school. One day coming back from school, he finds a guy standing in front of a convenient store, staring at the newspaper with a pensive look. Huh.
