They were young when it happened, and even his own memories of it are still a little fuzzy, so maybe Richie can’t blame him for that. It’s not exactly like repression, what the fucking town and that monster does to his head, but that’s what his shrink always said it probably was, so it probably works something like repression. Does it hurt more or less to think that Eddie repressed it? It’s hard to decide.

Summary
Sometimes Eddie would tell Richie ‘no,’ or tell him to stop, but he didn’t really mean it. He just liked when Richie got rougher with him when he was being bitchy and difficult, and Richie seemed to always like it, too. But he’d never done that when they were really mad at each other (at least not this mad). Eddie had never been genuinely afraid that Richie might hurt him all those other times.

Eddie wants to tell Richie that he doesn’t want foreplay right now- he wants Richie to fucking hold him down and fuck him without enough lube and slap a hand over his mouth when Eddie starts crying too loudly.
But he doesn’t know how to, so instead, he snaps “Well maybe if you switched things up sometimes, I wouldn’t be so fucking bored.”

Summary
The year is 1980. After the initial defeat of Pennywise, all seven Losers leave Derry. But when Bill and Mike run into each other while both studying at the University of Maine, their reunion brings back their memories of Derry and of the beast underneath it. As they come to suspect that Pennywise is still alive and may return, they move back to their hometown, despite the grim reminders that brings.
Meanwhile in Atlanta, Stan Uris begins to have unsettling dreams. When his daughter likewise dreams of the thing that haunts Derry, he becomes determined to return and protect his family. He makes some phone calls, and the Losers' Club gathers once more.

(Returning to the familiar stomping-ground that was Derry’s public library, Mike’s hand ghosted over the small of Bill’s back as they entered well-trodden corridors. It was their turn to be fashionably late; they’d pulled up ten minutes to the hour and Bill had said, 𝙼𝚒𝚔𝚎𝚢, 𝚒𝚏 𝚠-𝚠𝚎 𝚐𝚘 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚛𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚗-𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝙸 𝚠𝚘𝚗’𝚝 𝚋𝚎 𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚝𝚘, 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚙𝚎𝚊𝚔, and so Mike had leaned against the bed of their truck as Bill smoked. Now it was past 1 PM, and when they walked in Mike immediately spotted the rest of the Losers loitering awkwardly in the front lounge. Carole, who was working the desk, made desperate eyes at him, which made Mike finally crack a smile, some of the tension leaving him.
“It’s through here, guys,” he said, gently, and their instantaneous response was nice; it reminded him that he and Bill had done so much work already; work to be part of Derry, and work to understand it, even if it was not always a good place to be in or to understand. The Losers followed them obediently, their habitual chatter subdued with the newness of the situation.)

That august they all drive down to the beach again, and Eddie seems happier already now he’s not with Sonia. Maggie tries her best not to make Sonia out to be this monster of a mother but as Went would say “the proofs in the pudding.” As usual they unpack and order some takeaway, they go for an Italian place rather than their usual of pizza and the boys manage to sit through the entirety of Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory without falling asleep. It’s still light outside, the sky a soft pink as it descends around the house. The two boys go up to bed slowly, Eddie hesitating on the stairs before whisper yelling: “Maggie.”
Maggie walks from her place in the kitchen to the foot of the stairs and looks at Eddie expectantly. “Thank you.” He says slightly louder and Maggie feels her heart swell to twice its size.
“Anytime.” She responds.
