This story is a sequel (of sorts), to my story, ON FRIDAY, I'M IN LOVE, featuring an extract from Matsuri's Diary. It's a hectic Saturday at the Mizusawa household:
Me: "Sorry sorry sorry!! Wrong audience! Ignore the kissing part unless you liked it?? Cause, yeah!"🥰"Harumin sent ten laughing emojis and a cat face. My heart melted. And exploded. And melted again.
But before I could enjoy that emotional rollercoaster, Mom spoke: "Matsuri, your grandmother called yesterday, asking when you’ll come visit her. She felt neglected."
Phone vibrates.
Harumin: "So is this a hot date, or like our usual hangout-but-actually-date? Cause, baby... I'll even wear the headband with the cat ears and the other stuff..."💦My brain melted into goo as the image of Harumin fulfilling my twisted fantasies flooded my erogenous lobe. That could be the only explanation for what happened nest. I made the crucial error.
I answered Mom with Harumin’s answer.
"So basically, oh, yes, lover, it’s a hot date," I said solemnly, texting away as a sweat broke out around my fevered lips.
Mom dropped her spoon. Inori howled like a hyena..."
