Summary
Tuck is nice, though he’s not her favorite ‘minder’; after Rex, of course, she actually likes Brii the best. He never asks her to say anything, just sits in a chair and chatters to her about the battalions and about the peace talks between the Republic Senate and CIS Senate, which are apparently being spearheaded by Padme. Unsurprisingly. Sometimes he’ll flip through his sketchbook and show her his drawings, show her the ones he’s working on--yesterday he’d shown her a rough caricature of Anakin, depicting him as a fish, and she’d actually laughed at it. Brii had seemed very pleased.
There’s probably a bet going around about that, she thinks, wryly fond. Who can make Commander Tano laugh the most?

Summary
Daxter ain't jazzed about workin' at a cafe with the weirdest possible open and close times, but it's the kind of drudgery that pays the bills in a gentrified city like Haven. He's been keepin' his head down, his cat off the counters, and his complaints to himself, so there's no reason for anythin' to go wrong. Well, except that it turns out Haven ain't quite the city he thought it was, the perpetually-exhausted guy who keeps showin' up for drinks ain't normal, and accordin' to him, Daxter's mixes ain't just coffee.

Finding love is hard enough under normal circumstances. But during a war where just about everyone’s trying to kill you, it’s pretty much impossible. Then again, doing the impossible was what they were getting good at.

Summary
In the late hours of the night, when the world seems still, Jak can pretend he is home. Can forget that he is stuck in a city filled with cruelty and dangerous men, has been thrown into a world that makes little sense to him. It was easier to cope when there was a war to fight. Someone always needed a favour, Torn and Krew’s constant demands and missions kept him running. One objective after the next, always running, running from the past, from the thoughts inside his head. There was no time to miss sunsets at Geyser Rock or think, for even a fraction of a second, about all he endured at the Baron's hands.
***
The war is over, and the Metal-Head leader is dead, Haven can rebuild and heal after decades of death. Only Jak can't seem to stop, is lost and out of place in this foreign place, unable to heal or face the pain of his past.
Daxter is doing all he can to help Jak through the aftermath, but his best friend is falling apart faster then Daxter can catch him.Series

Summary
“Okay, here we go,” Dax said, half to Jak and half to himself. His hands were shaking. “You first, then I follow.”
This was crazy. He was crazy. He couldn’t do this. He had to do this. Or it was all for nothing.
“On my count,” he shouted, remembering this part from a movie he watched months ago. Was that the one where the good guys died at the end? “Number of Muses in Sandover.”
Jak nodded once.
Daxter gulped twice.
“One— Banzai!”
---
Breaking into the Krimzon Guard's Fortress wasn't so hard as a two-foot-something furry who could squeeze into tight places and pass for a very confused stray animal if he ever got caught. Gaining access to the lowest levels of this hellhole and tracking down his best friend had been a lot harder, but with time and luck and a some stealthing for information and a whole hell of a lot more forward preparation, even that had gone smoothly enough. It was the part where he and Jak both got out of this daring escape in one piece that was turning out to be the really hard part.

“Plan B,” they say.
He wants to scream, “Why didn't you?!”
There's no one to blame but himself. It's him who fucked up. Again and again…
It's him who fucked - Again. And again.
When it's over, he walks away from the explosion, grinning triumphantly. Like his whole world didn't just supernova.
He'd be better off with Errol's second pile of remains. Pulled apart for scrap. They could probably make a buck or two, even with all the use. And how he let himself be used. By the Precursors. By Veger. By his friends. By his father.

Summary
"What do you want?" Ashelin asks flatly.
"I told you. I've got something you'd love to hear." He's standing right next to her, so close their shoulders are practically touching. The man really loves to invade personal space.
He won't leave until he's said his piece. "Out with it, then."
"While you've been on house arrest," Errol jeers, "your man has moved on."
"Is that so." She side-eyes him slowly.
The grin on his face is almost feral. "One of my soldiers delivered a message. Jak and Torn say hello."

Summary
There was a harsh, scraping sound of claws over concrete. Hulking shadows clambered over the wreckage, drool dripping into the mud from their sharp fangs. Grunting, Erol cocked his gun.
"If we survive," he said over his shoulder, "I'm still going to shoot you."
"Likewise," Jak growled, trying to find some purchase in the slippery ground.-
