He sounds scared. Robin shouldn’t be scared. Woozy, Tim struggles to comprehend the thought. Is he scared that Batman and Nightwing are coming? Absurd. They’re Robins’ family. Why would -

      Oh.

      “It’s okay. Just burn down the house when you leave,” Tim rasps. Their fight, their blood, was all over Drake Manor. But that’s fine. That can be fixed. His parents made contingencies for every possible disaster: for floods, robberies, home invasions. Wildfire. Everything important is insured. Everything his parents love is safe. “Blue fire. Make sure I burn with it too.”

      And Jason recoils hard. His hands, pressed against the rapidly soaking bandages on his flank and shoulder, spasm. “The fuck? What the fuck? What are you - ”

While Constantine works to find a reversal — after all, he got you all into this mess and portal-hopping-lycanthropes weren’t in the mission briefing — the two of you try to just take it all business as usual. Course that’s pretty difficult when there’s a whole family of bats getting in the way, Jason starts getting growly, and you’re fairly certain that this is all some weird fever dream. What could go wrong?
