Summary
One minute, Violet can't answer a simple question ("Who's your crush?"). The next, she's being teased and heckled. Before she knows it, she's having a panic attack in front of all of her friends.
Locked away upstairs, alone with nothing but her thoughts and her favorite album, Violet thinks about what went wrong. And more importantly, she comes to accept what she had long tried to ignore... or at least, she tries to accept it.
This is meant to be read with the Of Monsters and Men album "My Head Is An Animal" playing alongside. Lyrical cues are littered throughout the text in bold/italics, meant to be read at the pace of the music. Since everyone's reading speed is different, I don't expect it to be perfect, but hopefully it works out.
One reference is made to the climax of Lena's Groundhog Day (my previous story), but it is not required reading.

“Ugh.” Louie suddenly declared, getting up. “I don’t want to have any sort of part in this stupid evocation. I’m gonna go grab some pep.”
“No!” Violet yelped, almost removing her hand from the planchet in alarm. “You’ll get possessed if you leave without saying ‘goodbye’!”
“Eh. I’ve been through worse.” he replied with a pained smile. With that, his hand twisted around the doorknob, and as he took a single step out, a bright ethereal white light burst from the ouija board and shot over to Louie, knocking him off his feet at the sheer force of it. Webby let out a loud scream as the youngest triplet went limp, presumably knocked out.
Or
Louie gets possessed. He gains nothing from it, or so he thinks.
That is, until he manifests spiritual magic.
