For a moment Legend’s expression didn’t change, and Sky found himself silently praying. Then like a candle being lit, confusion turned to understanding, then disbelief, and finally the Vet’s eyes went wide. “Are you saying…” Legend’s mouth fell open as he turned to look at the unconscious girl. “Sweet Hylia, you’re kidding.”
“Um, would you two mind sharing this revelation with the rest of us?” Wild demanded, his irritation clear.
Sky inhaled deeply, steadying himself for the storm he was about to unleash. “Remember when we first sparred with each other and I borrowed a sword because I didn’t want to use Fi?”
“Yeah.” Wild sounded less annoyed now.
“Remember why?”
“You said something about her not liking being used against her masters.” No sooner had the words left his mouth than the same light seemed to go on in the Champion’s brain. “No way!”
Sky shifted his gaze from his brother to the young woman in front of them. “Or in this case, Mistress.”---
