Robert processes what he's heard and turns around to join them in staring at Phenomaman, lacking any other option in the face of what he's just said.
Mistaking their shock, Phenomaman looks around at the faces gazing at him in utter confusion and continues pleasantly, “Actually, I would like to be bred. Is that not a more accurate Earth phrase?”

Summary
Early into Robert's time as a dispatcher, Flambae is hit by a temporary form of love magic that highjacks his senses and leaves him infatuated with the first person he interacts with. To Robert's terrible misfortune, that happens to be him. Now, he not only has to learn how to handle a supremely compromised Flambae, but survive the onslaught of ridicule from the rest of his team of ex-villains.
Robert has been through all sorts of bullshit before, but even this is new to him. Hopefully, he can weather the storm and get the old, bitchy Flambae back before the HR violations stack so high, they'll kill him if (or when) they come crashing down.

It was a two day event, Saturday and Sunday, and the SDN was willing to pay, round trip, for someone from the Phoenix Program to attend — with a chaperone of course.
When Robert had volunteered to do so with a member of the Z-Team, he hadn’t really thought the entire process through. Or, at least, he hadn’t thought far enough ahead to consider the reality he was currently experiencing: a reality in which he shared a weekend with a raging fireball who vividly hated his guts.Or:

Flambae, the self proclaimed best member of SDN's Z-Team, has a problem. And that problem comes in the form of his 5'9'' depressed dispatcher. Flambae hates Robert. Robert Robertson has a problem. Actually, he has 99 problems, and they all come from the same place. His full plate, which is being continuously piled with dishes he didn't ask for and doesn't want. Between dispatching the Z-Team, trying to pin down Shroud, attempting to do what he can to help salvage the Mecha Man suit while keeping that bit about his identity a secret, Robert stretches himself thinner and thinner with each passing day. He just wants some of this off his plate, though he can't tell where one thing ends and another begins. He knows well that removing one would inevitably mean having to remove it all. And there's something on this plate that he doesn't want to live without, even if he won't admit to himself what that is.-
