And Hux? Well, he's spent over a decade as a sleeper agent within the bowels of the First Order when he feels an awakening in the Force, and he's decided it's time to begin the destruction of the First Order. And he's going to bring Ben back to the Light if it's the last thing he does.

Treachery slipped softly from the man's plush lips, treasonous words that Hux had first planted there, now fed back to him in a perfect cycle. So they'd gone, and they'd won. But now a third of the intended triumvirate lies shattered, struck down from the inside out, strapped to a bed in the medcenter. The crown bears heavy on Hux's skull, without him.
And then, Ren wakes up.
Or, Hux succeeds in wresting empire from Snoke, but at a price. It may ultimately prove too high.

Curling in on himself further, Kylo felt as if he was once more being ripped apart, though not by the light or dark side of the Force. He wanted to believe in Snoke and his words, wanted it more than anything, but even he had to admit it looked as if Snoke was wrong in his orders to kill Solo. Which led him to wonder if Snoke had been wrong about that, what else had he been wrong about? What else had he lied about in the years he had been grooming Kylo? Had Kylo thrown everything away to serve a Master that only cared only for himself and his own power?
With Han’s death, Kylo knew he could never again return home, the final bridge to redemption well and truly burned to ash. Leaving him with nothing but a Master who would punish him severely if he learned of Kylo’s treasonous thoughts. So what was he to do now? What path could he take and who should he trust?

Summary
Ben Solo is a cult deprogrammer down on his luck hired to abduct and deprogram Armitage Hux and convince him to leave his doomsday cult and come home. Despite the oddity of the request, Ben accepts. Ben takes Hux to an isolated location and goes to work chipping away at his defenses, although Hux isn't anything like he thought. Hux is self-possessed, confident, and consistently undercuts Ben at every turn, making him start to doubt his own beliefs. As things get stranger, Ben tries to stay on track and keep from getting sucked into Hux's world.
Essentially: Ben is hired to deprogram secret cult leader Hux, but Hux ends up indoctrinating him instead.
