They have trauma from the past they're still working through and the three are still learning how to fall into these ranks they had been handed. I'm sort of going through my bookmarks and adding a few comments here and there on ones that I hadn't already done so and dear God why haven't I put one on this one yet, sigh. All right so from the get-go we can tell that this is a primarily human AU in a close to medieval setting that still has certain aspects of fantasy mixed in. The biggest one right off the bat being that one of our main characters Anne is a werewolf and not the cute and cuddly kind or the depressingly tragic kind either. No no no, we're looking at the bloodthirsty beast kind of werewolf at least initially. Now for those of you who might or might not have read the Mercy Thompson book series I get the feeling that this story shares many of the aspects that werewolves have in that storyline. So while I will not say if you enjoyed that you'll enjoy this if you're here and looking through amphibia stories then you'll probably enjoy this one. I shall add the number 13 here for literally no reason... What you want a reason fine because I like that number, however it is not my favorite number. My favorite number is 2 followed very closely by 12 this has absolutely no bearing on the story I just like those numbers.

In this AU Anne gets left behind with Sasha and Grime, and is forced to build the rebellion up from the ground with the same people who betrayed her just days before. She has to process the “death” of her best friend with Sasha and learn to move on, and eventually forgive all over again, while still working to get the box back from Andrias and hopefully save the Plantars. -
