Summary
After the discovery of Overlord aboard the Lost Light, Drift was banished by Rodimus Prime to conceal the young Prime's own part in the terrible ordeal. Now, months later, Rodimus' part has since been revealed and Ratchet has departed to find the absent mech, only to learn that he is engaging in dangerous heroics. Ratchet's goal is to convince Drift to return to the Lost Light, despite Ratchet's own fury with Rodimus for his treatment of his 'best friend'.

Rodimus seeks out Megatron, his co-captain and former Decepticon leader, for advice, wanting to know how a mech he's seen to have once had pure goals and an open Spark fell so far.

Four mechs, their pasts different and yet similar as they all, at one time or another, knew one another, desire nothing more than to return to where they belong.-

Summary
In Cybertron's Golden Age, criminals were shipped off to Luna 2. Over time and many generations, they form their own society and thrive. However, Luna 2 is under Cybertronian government and inhabitants must pay substantial taxes as well as giving up any resources demanded. The mecha of the moon all have divided opinions on this which causes their society to fragment into sides: those who live under Cybertronian policy and the rebels.
Tailgate, a young refugee who escaped from his bombed hometown now lives in a brothel. Surrounded by his new-found family, he has to come to terms with his new and unexpected life style. Cyclonus, a Cybertronian soldier who is stationed on Luna 2 to help suppress the rising rebellion is dragged along to the brothel by his friend, Whirl and begins to take an interest in the little white bot behind the bar.

As Arcee's predicament is revealed to be about more than her alone, Starscream and Jetfire end up having to deal with a situation that has been a possibility for the length of the war, but it'll be only one trial of many as the "in case of fire" armistice turns out to be very, very necessary.
Questions about the past will be answered, as well as those of the nature of the spark - but the most important question is two-fold. How do you save a newly revealed half of your population that doesn't know they need to be freed from the slavery they're in, and how do you keep the known half of your population, what little is left after 4+ million years of war, from that very same slavery?
