Megatron says this by a bored rota at this point. He doesn't even bother to sneer any more at the sub who should have been his but fights him every turn. But Optimus's answer nearly makes him fall off his throne this time.
"Why, yes."
At one point of the war Op realizes that he was wrong. Not because Megs is right, but because he is his Dom, only the Matrix wouldn't want it and clouded his processor about it to keep the war going (or whatever other reason anonauthor makes up about it). I want mainly crack, not a serious story, not slavery and angst and whatnot. Just some light crack, maybe some fluff and good, sticky (sparks optional) interface. How the others react to this is also completely up to anonauthor.

It's still long before Kaon falls to the Decepticons, but the secret, underground arena Megatron is cultivating has helped him draw some... conclusions.
It has also drawn the attention of a Seeker, who keeps finding himself surprisingly good at and all too pleased with the violence he gets to do in said arena.
Starscream will have yet one more realisation, coming on the heels of a situation engineered by Megatron in an attempt to find out what the Seeker is made of. Will Starscream's realisation come quick enough, and if so... is that even a good idea?
Megatron's paying attention, either way.

Prompt: There's a lot of theories about why Starscream keeps trying to off Megatron, even though he never succeeds. The truth of the matter is, it's all driven by his protective creator mad-on. Cause that son of a gun has the audacity to try and court Starscream's bitlet! Thank goodness Optimus hasn't figured it out yet. Megs was all but raised by cyberwolves, so he's got no idea how to express his interest to a normal mech. In the gladiator rings defeating an enemy without causing any crippling damage was pretty much an invitation to share quarters.
Skyfire is rather amused by both Megatron's obvious infatuation, and Starscream's attempts to keep the ex-gladiator away from their creation. Frankly, he thinks that Optimus and Megatron might work out. At least this stupid war would be over with, but good luck on getting Starscream to listen. So in the meantime he will be a good bondmate and help his seeker work off all that frustration via facing.
And if he happens to subtly encourage Optimus' secret crush on the Decepticon leader every now and then, well, no one needs to know...

I always hated the Council scene in Transformers: Exodus, and Ratchet's little narration of what happened in an episode of Transformers Prime did nothing to help matters. I always wondered how Megatron saw things and had headcanon about it -- and I've even written in-depth fic where things happened very differently. I came up with this as a short vignette and a window into Megatron's emotions.

This came about from a prompt on the kink meme - in a nutshell, Ratchet, Megatron, and time travel. Current day Ratchet ending up (via freak time travel accident) on pre-war Cybertron and running into a much younger pre-war version of Megatron. I've got a massive epic for the prompt outlined, but this here is five excerpts of the oddity that is Ratchet and Megatron. Context can be kind of seen if you squint and it really is a crazy mashup of continuities - I'm envisioning G1 and IDW mechs in my head, but with Bayverse-esque transformations and cherrypicked backstories for everyone.
