The Variant looks human, which doesn’t necessarily mean he is. He doesn’t seem much taller than Green, but he’s big and dauntingly burly, with blond shorn hair and a matching beard. He clenches a broken baton in one hand. He’s got an unconscious Minuteman by the collar with the other. Lightning arcs across the body of the baton, more than seems possible. It’s almost as if it comes from the Variant’s knuckles instead of the wiring inside.
He turns. First Green sees an eyepatch, and then the Variant has turned enough for a single blue eye to stare at them.
The Variant’s brows rise.
“Loki?”
Green does not move. Not even to breathe.

The setting sun gleams through the windows, bathing the front of the store in its bright orange rays. Bucky grumbles under his breath as he totes a folding display sign inside and leans it against the wall. He slips his key out of his pocket, glad to finally make his way home after a long afternoon of work.
He’s merely two steps out the door when a tall, slim figure comes into his peripheral vision.
“I’m sorry, we’re clos—”
The words evaporate from Bucky’s mouth at the sight of dark, curly hair, and broad shoulders outlining navy fabric.
“Hello, darling.”
“Hi, sweetheart.”
Bucky blinks, darting his gaze between his husband and partner. “W-What are you two doing here?”
“To pick you up, of course,” Steve says, his tone dripping lower when he leans in to whisper into the shell of Bucky’s ear, “but also to have a little fun.”

Steve surges forward, coming to wrap a hand around Bucky’s jaw to force eye contact. While Bucky gets lost in those sharp blue eyes, Steve’s dark tone causes a shiver to roll through him. “You listen to me, boy,” he growls, “because I won’t repeat myself.”

Bucky watched as the club slowly started to fill up, sat on his kneeling pillow atop of the pedestal. He enjoyed being his Master's pretty little pet on display, something he thought he'd never consider doing. He'd opened up to more kinks in the past several years, thanks to his Sir and Master.
A few feet away, Loki greeted a few people that they’d spoken to before, as well as introduced themself to some of the newcomers. Meanwhile, Bucky was eagerly awaiting for his Sir to return from his meeting, wanting to show him how good he'd been.
He sat there, content, until a voice rang in his ears, realizing that someone was talking to him.
"My, my, a little doll left out on display all alone?"
Bucky felt his whole body tense up as he instinctively leaned away. Guests weren't supposed to be this close. A shiver ran down his spine as he clenched the small piece of plastic in his fist. He wasn't sure if he pressed it, or if Loki had heard it at all. The man reached a hand up, gaze fixated on Bucky’s ring-adorned collar, before slender fingers caught his wrist in a firm grasp.
"You know, if you are unable to follow a simple written direction, I'm not sure what place you have in a club like this."

Hammer Industries claimed that StarkTech stole their design, Flutternutters, obviously a blatant rip-off of Butterfingers. Steve could be out having lunch with his husband and partner right now, but no, he was spending his Saturday afternoon in a meeting room.
Justin's eyes landed on Steve. “Someone once told me ‘poly' relationships are destined to fail. Maybe your money just isn't enough to keep him satisfied anymore. I mean, what does a little twink whore like him—”
“Finish that sentence, I dare you,” Steve growled, pointing at the CEO of Hammer Industries with his finger.
"—do to get laid? Dance around in skimpy lingerie like a slut?"
Steve saw red, more red, and only red.

Loki crawls their way into the makeshift bed, and Bucky pops his head out from his comforter bundle. He raises his arms up in the air, making grabby hands at Loki. They chuckle as they grab a pillow for themself, laying down and allowing Bucky to snuggle them to his heart’s content.
Loki draws gentle patterns on Bucky's back, who seems incredibly content to use their chest as a pillow. They watch Steve stoke the fire, then glances out the window.
"How bad is it outside?" Loki asks, stroking their thumb over Bucky’s shoulder.
"It's still coming down fairly well. We should be okay though, we’ve got plenty of wood still."
"Well then come join us," Loki says, patting the couch.
Steve slips out of his robe, his bare chest on full display. “Guess I should, huh?”

Their's senses slowly caught up to reality, seeing the Odin's furious face up close made cold spikes of terror run through their whole body.
The man took a few steps back and outstretched his arms. A golden glow sprouted from his hands, morphing into chains that started wrapping around Loki's head, then their whole body.
"I didn't want to do this, but you give me no choice, son."Aka. Odin blocks Loki's magic in a very painful way.

Summary
Loki couldn't possibly be falling for a married couple, they just couldn't. They agreed to a casual, kink-focused threesome, and nothing more. But Steve hadn’t shown any interest in kissing them until now, five months after happily indulging his husband who brought up the idea of a threesome. They all consented to it, but the energy of the room felt different than before, like if a plant had sprouted from a seed, growing until the leaves were dangling off of the window sill.
Regret was brewing in their chest the moment they confessed to Steve. Would their feelings be returned? Or rejected? It would hurt to see the couple at their club again if they weren't wanted anymore, but would Bucky still feel comfortable around them to even consider returning?
They really shouldn’t have stopped by the couple's house to the begin with. It wouldn’t come as a surprise to them if Steve asked them to leave, or—

They freeze, their shoulders tensing as they wait for what Steve is about to say, unable to look him in the eyes.
