Trees swaying wildly in the powerful breeze passing through the atmosphere. Blossom petals dancing in the sky as they slowly tumble to the ground like snowflakes. Birds chirping loudly, their chatter creating beautiful melodies as they fly carelessly through the clouds. The scent of flowers filling the air before getting swept away by the wind. Soft grass under foot along with the crunch of an occasional leaf.
This was Ranboo’s first day of summer.

And sure, Wilbur, Phil, and Techno wouldn’t know he was gone for weeks, and Ranboo and Tubbo would probably never know at all. Tommy could think about how they would react all he wanted to, but they probably wouldn’t ever find out. Who was going to tell them? Phil didn’t even know who they were, and Tommy wasn’t about to call.
In their eyes, Tommy had probably blocked them and moved on. He was the asshole in their eyes. Just like they sailed their boats towards a new life without him, Tommy had cut himself free of the seaweed he was stuck in and sailed the other way.In the end, it didn’t matter.
They could think what they wanted, and Tommy couldn't care less. What was the point of-“THAT’S WHAT THE POINT OF THE MASK IS-”
Tommy groaned.

"Tommy, kids are always going to be assholes." Phil says, for once sounding like a robot, almost monotone in that way Techno's tone is on the daily. "Just ignore them. They're probably just miserable and," Phil lifts one hand and waves it around, gesturing, before bringing it back down to continue typing. He doesn't turn around to look at Tommy at all. "—you know." he sighs.
"You can a handle it." his dad says. "Just— grow up. Be the bigger person."
A heavy weight like a stone drops in Tommy's stomach. He feels it, and with the stone, his heart as well. For a second, he thinks he might be sick.
Just grow up.
"O—oh." Tommy chokes, feeling a ball forming in his throat, blocking it up, causing tears to prick at his eyes. He goes to try to speak around it, but—
"Is there anything else you need?" Phil asks, endlessly facing away, still not even bothering to face Tommy. "I'm really busy, kiddo."

Summary
Why were the best poems always sad? Always tear jerking, lacking anger or hope or anything else. Always depressing and tiring and filled to the brim with childhood traumas? Bad memories? Never love, never nothing sweet. Never fair, never affectionate or healing. The best poems were always sad.
And the stanzas that outlined Theseus's life were nothing short of award winning, not by that standard.
Theseus spent his sixteenth birthday on a twin-sized mattress much too small for him, a thin and scratchy blanket lazily thrown over his legs as he threw these thoughts down, no hope in his heart that things would get better.
It was almost poetic, how a child suddenly becomes an artist under unfair circumstances.
Or,
Tommy's journey of being taken in by the Watsons, regaining hope, learning to accept love, and gaining the confidence to share his poetry told in thirteen memories.

The caregiver gasped, "I'm not being mean! You're just being a silly baby."
Ranboo didn't even attempt real words this time, half-heartedly babbling out some angry nonsense about Wilbur being mean and wrong and too loud. It was very amusing.
"So complain, so scold," Wilbur hummed, tightening his hold on the boy for a moment before loosening again, as if hugging him when they were already cuddling.
Alternatively,
Ranboo and Wilbur, and the rest of the weird Watson Coven-Family Situation live in a big castle in order to stay away from humans. One day, the younger of the two vampires regresses, and Wilbur is more than eager to step up to the role of taking care of him.

Something settled into his chest at that thought. He had never gotten that choked up about it before, he had always bragged about being so cute as a kid that they changed their opinions, but a deeply sad feeling distracted him for a moment when he was reminded of their past in that split second.
Monster hormones, he mused internally, pushing down the emotion."

Tommy Simons was a monster, and his family were ex-monster hunters. He's gone through about sixteen years of his life trying not to be bothered by this fact, telling himself that they didn't think that way anymore and that his dad had put so much work into making the word a better place for him since dropping that career path.
But when his sixteenth birthday appears on the horizon, he finds that the fast-paced, emotional roller coaster he likes to call 'monster puberty' doesn't just mean that his fangs will grow in and he'll get a bit taller. He finds that it also means that he'll be more emotional.
And emotions could lead to a lot when they aren't addressed.
