Dwalin has never seen anything so delicate and perfect as the sweet thing in front of him. Bluebell came in a close second, right after the tray of cookies she was holding.
Dwalin falls for Blue's cookies first and Blue shortly there after. He is firmly in denial that his Heart Lode is a feisty, courageous, sarcastic, kind, loyal Hobbit. Once everyone finds out though they do their damnedest to make him admit it and that the little Hobbit is head over heels for him even if she won't admit it.

It's a simple deal, really. She steals their home back for them. They steal her from her home.
That's all there is to it, of course, because nothing could happen when stuck in close quarters for 8 months. Especially when there's magic involved.

Summary
Above the heart, hobbits carried the visible manifestations of their friendships, family ties and romantic relationships in the form of markings which grew like flowers on their chests.
Thinking that the Dwarves of Thorin's company will never forgive him, Bilbo taps into the hobbits' green magic at great risk to his life and shows everyone that nature is not only gentle and kind, but has thorns, and that the Bonds between him and the Dwarves are not so easily broken than as would have thought.

When Doug met Chad his first year at Auradon Junior Prep, he’d known he’d found his fabled One, the soulmate dictated by his dwarven instincts. As two outcasts in normal Auradon society, they fit well together, and Doug spent years making up for the neglect of Chad’s family by gladly sharing his own. It all went well until they moved onto Auradon Prep, where other young royals – particularly Prince Benjamin – realized the treasure that was Chad.
It wasn’t a problem, not really, Chad deserved all the recognition in the world, Doug just really wished his instincts would stop registering excessive romantic attachments when he was only supposed to have one. Such was the way of a proper dwarf, right? Right?
Also known as: That time Doug got to be the protective badass for soft, squishy Chad while coming to terms with the parts of dwarven culture that do and do not apply to him.

Drafting a contract is a gravely serious task in Dwarrow culture; a contract concerning courtship, betrothal, and marriage even more so. Bilbo, the formerly respectable Hobbit of Bag End, was no stranger to the business of contracts, although he seemed to have underestimated the vigor with which the scribes of Erebor took to their task. Despite Dwarven confusion, there are some things a Hobbit simply requires, even if that Hobbit will live in Erebor.
