Summary
18 years after the death of Avatar Korra, the White Lotus are desperately searching for the new Avatar. In an attempt to find them, they arrive in Ba Sing Se where they find Kallo, a struggling teenager in the poverty-ridden lower ring of the city who also just so happens to be the world's next Avatar. As Kallo learns to take on the responsibilities of the Avatar, international tensions rise as the United Republic pushes its modern agenda to modernize the world, threatening the traditional ways of the Earth Kingdom monarchy.
