That someone, anyone, would’ve cared enough for him to defend his life.

Evbo hummed in acknowledgement, waiting with bated breath for Boey to continue. He inhaled slowly, shoulders shaking with the movement of his chest. His fingers twitched and he pulled his legs back up onto the block to rest his chin on his knees. “Do… do you ever think about the void?”Evbo and Boey watch the sunset together.
