Summary
'Stoic and reserved, Elster units have a relatively stable neural pattern. It is best for you to leave it alone and interact with the Elster unit as little as possible. Elsters' neural pattern was a soldier of Vinetan origin, so their needs are basic ... To avoid resurfacing of Gestalt memories, do not show or give the Elster unit photographs, especially of soldiers during the war. Do not show the Elster unit movies, or let it listen to music. Do not try to befriend the Elster unit.'
The note containing these words was never opened by Officer Yeong. Thus, over the course of more than 3000 cycles, Persona degradation was inevitable for LSTR-512.
A story of Elster's descent into madness, of her countless lives and deaths, and of the love aboard the Penrose that made it all so worth it.

Summary
Sometimes, happiness slips through our fingers without us even noticing it; opportunities passing us by in a moment's notice.
Most may be minor, inconsequential even, but the cruelty of reality is that you can never know which ones were truly important, possibly even life-changing. One moment may be the difference between heaven and hell, between a happily ever after and a bittersweet last breath. So then, what could have been if Ariane Yeong had gotten a little nudge in the right direction, just as she needed it most? Just how different could have things gone for her and her dear LSTR unit out there in the nigh-endless vastness of space?
Sometimes, all it takes to shake everything to its very foundations is a single, simple change of course.Series

Summary
Semi-detached vertical slices of the misfortunes and strange happenings at W-72 Wertheimer. The misshapen lump of an asteroid base has a diameter of 250km. It’s one of the six natural satellites belonging to Leng. Its most prominent feature is a reddish cap of thorins spat out by its parent planet that made the 19,000km journey across.
In an underground VKON (Verteidigungs- und Kriegsministerium der Nation) facility on the base, there is a natural pit in the rock that is over 300km deep. They still aren’t done measuring it. Some say it’s a hole to another dimension, others think it’s a portal to hell. Non-euclidean geometry aside, everyone agrees it's the source of the horrors that transpire.

Heimat Orbital Station 7, Koch Shipyards, Perimeter Station 3, was an unremarkable place to be...
As Ariane's signal spreads across the Eusan system, Replikas and Gestalts lose the monotony of their lives, as they're suddenly overwhelmed with dreams and cries from someone they do not know.
As the rot spreads towards Heimat, a quarantine is ordered, and any radio channels find themselves under strict surveillance. The Protektors spread their influence in an attempt to maintain control, but as it all falls apart, some unlikely alliances are formed.

Summary
Ariane Yeong was so, so close to a ticket out of the Nation. She just had to make it five more periods, and then she'd never have to spend another moment in this damn place, instead exploring the galaxy and traveling through the stars. All it took to destroy her years of hard work was just one off-the-cuff remark during a pre-flight checkup...

Cycle-[888]
I've tried to teach Elster how to dance. It's so cute how clumsy she can be when it comes to these things. In the middle of trying to get her work done for the cycle, Elster is interrupted by Ariane who is eager to share the records she was finally able to retrieve from storage. But listening to the music isn't enough. Ariane wants Elster to dance, all the while, Elster just wants to get back to work.

A genuinely amazing piece of work made by a co-writer of “step to the stars”, with specific wonders given to its chekovs gun, set pieces and foreshadowing with good heart tugs.
Would recommend.
