Sokka doesn't believe in ghosts. He never has, not when Katara came into his room crying when they were kids, because of Gran Gran's scary bedtime stories, and certainly not when Aang insisted on cleansing his and Zuko's apartment with sage. But he needed a job, and hey, the girl that worked the counter at Gyatso's? She was super cute. So that's how Sokka found himself as a spirit-medium-in-training at the Tui and La Spirit Shop, and coincidentally, how he met his first 'ghost'.

Most of them play hockey.Warning: this material contains silliness, oblivious gays, more oblivious bisexuals, jokes about short people, those who make jokes about short people getting kicked in the knees, Pakku being an asshole (not much different from canon tbh), incredibly non-canon timelines, the Beifong family tree is very much not what it is in canon, a lack of villains from the original show, this villainy lack resulting in minor one-episode jackasses becoming main antagonists, horrible descriptions of bending, worse descriptions of sports, tub juice, attempts at underage drinking, brunch, a single joke about drugs, no actual drugs, announcer man from legend of Korra, video games, Microsoft Excel, OCs but only as background characters, vlogging, and the Republic City Police Force.

My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. But that all changed when the Air Nomads attacked. Only the Avatar mastered all four elements. Only he could stop the adaptive and deadly airbenders. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and the Air Nomads, re-named as the Air Empire, are nearing victory in the War. Two years ago, my father and the men of my Kingdom journeyed to the Fire Nation to help fight against the Air Empire, leaving me and my brother to look after our village. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into the Water Tribe, and that the cycle is broken. But I haven't lost hope. I still believe that somehow, the Avatar will return to save the world. -

The war ended early, when Iroh usurped his brother from power after his cruel Agni Kai against Zuko. But instead of becoming Fire Lord, Iroh helped transition the Fire Nation into a federal republic led by a chancellor, effectively abolishing the absolute monarchy. As a result the royal family is no more, and Iroh takes Zuko and Azula under his wing and leaves for Ember Island.
Now a decade later, Zuko and Azula work as bounty hunters/vigilantes and get along better than they ever had. But then Zuko receives a message from one distraught Chief Hakoda and Master Pakku of the Southern Water Tribe. Their mission for him: find and return the chief's daughter back to her family by any means necessary.
What he didn't know, is that he will be chasing his future and destiny as well...
