The word’s lingered in Pomni’s head, echoing in her brain. When she closed her eyes, she could see the anger on Jax’s face; and the desperation in his movements. Their interaction almost made it impossible to sit still during the award show. Her anxiety was tripled by the fact that Jax hadn’t been seen since the award show, and it had been several hours. He made a habit of hanging around, always the last to go to bed.
“Pomni, I’ve been looking for you!”
“Ragatha, I’m… sorry. I completely forgot we were supposed to talk.”
“No, it’s okay! I’m sure you had an eventful day. You and Jax made a great team. You guys won!”

Summary
basically the tadc series, but everything else. i'll try to order it in the way it would have happened canonically (the Queenie/Kinger fics before the Pomni ones, for example) and this works in tandem with canon. the fics are all related, by the way- if Jax says something in one fic, Pomni will remember it in the next fics as another example.
my headcanon fic is attached as well because everything in there works with the actual series. you don't have to read that one if you dont want, its not a part of the story :)

Pomni blinked a few times, taken aback by how caring that was. She knew Kinger was kind; he'd always been so patient, even though he was a little manic and forgetful at times. But she would have never expected him not only to pick up on her moods but also to offer help as well. That was... a shocker, to say the least.
"That's... really nice, thanks, Kinger." She said with a soft smile, meeting his eyes with ease
Or, Kinger teaches Pomni that maybe, just maybe, the darkness isn't so bad.
