Summary
Arthur Conan Doyle's canon does not end where fannish wisdom would expect it to, or as fans would wish in many ways. I think *Sherlock* canon has given us a way out, by way of Janine and her cottage. While this is in some ways Janlock, It's as much an exploration of how, in ACD canon, "our" version of Sherlock Holmes could end up happily in a cottage on the South Downs of Sussex raising bees without John, and not solving mysteries, and apparently quite content that way--and retire to this at about age 51. So it's more about Sherlock, and about facets of complex characters, than it is about romance. Or it's about romance in its own time, on its own terms, without a lot of fanfare.
Sherlock-centric, surrounded by much of the cast, with very little lovey-dovey, and nothing graphic in the least.

Post-R2. Basically a SuzaLulu happy family take on the ending, whereby Suzaku saves Lelouch, Lelouch retires to the countryside with C.C., and then... gets pregnant. Geass-wise, that's not going to be so hard to believe - right? Expect large amounts of fluff and borderline-OOC levels of crack, because this was mostly written for my (much) younger self's own entertainment, and for the sake of fulfilling certain stereotypical pregnancy tropes. Which may or may not be in line with Lelouch's drama queen tendencies. Other (het)pairings briefly co-star.
