Summary
Aeris and Cloud were fortunate they preferred to sleep on different sides of the bed; Cloud favored the left and Aeris preferred the right. Everywhere they stayed the two of them maintained the same arrangement - even when forced to cram together on a single bunk (fun enough near the start of their relationship; near unbearable when used to the other person and a certain amount of space in the bed). On one, semi-random occasion, Aeris teased Cloud about his preference; he was (apparently) supposed to be naturally and instinctively protective of her.

Charis nodded. “Aunt Marlene said she and Undyne were going over to Wutai to visit Aunt Yuffie and that in summer they have these really huge fireworks display and she showed me this video and it looked amazing.” Their daughter’s eyes were wide, a smile quirking her lips. “And… And-“ She frowned. “I don’t think we’re going to Wutai unless you are really good at keeping secrets, so I thought we could have our own and I know it’ll be a lot smaller but…”
An exchanged glance between Tifa and Aeris. Unlike Yuffie to single them out sufficiently to not have invited the family to Wutai for the same occasion, but Charis had not realized. Marlene had let slip a bit too much there. But how to maintain the surprise? When Uncle Cid swooped down and ferried them all off? Intended as a huge surprise and the lead into a holiday but- “You are right about Wutai.” She ignored the look from Tifa, hoping she would figure out the situation. “It would have been nice to go, but there’s no way for us to make it and Uncle Cid is really busy.”
Aeris and Tifa's daughter asks them for fireworks.

She pointed. The cave roof above them glowed with pin-pricks of light. A river of light stretched from the cave entrance across the roof and down to the far wall. Tributaries branched off along its length, these offshoots thinning out, leaving whorls and clusters of light before fading to nothing. “There are stars here.”

Rather the building around it did not look right. A smile and a memory; the tree fit the dim half-destroyed monument to the Shinra company better than it had when this place was clean and bright. More memories, thousands of moments coalescing.

Summary
For deliveries, Cloud would normally insist on something that at least resembled an address. For the most part this was easy to obtain. A location in Edge, Kalm, Junon, Costa del Sol, North Corel, even Nibelheim was easy to find armed with the relevant knowledge. As long as there was something concrete to orient himself by, he would find his destination.
This delivery was something else again. At least Reeve had good handwriting and made the effort to put an address on the packet. A shame about the actual content of his words. Maybe the man felt embarrassed when writing the label since it was in reverse order. No number, no street, not even an actual town; only 'Near Gongaga' as the second line. The continent - for example - on line one was rarely necessary; not as if multiple Midgars (or indeed Gongagas) plagued the Planet thanks to the events of some years previous. The third line was the kicker. "'Somewhere in the Secret Forest'," Cloud muttered.
Cloud delivers a package to the Secret Forest.

Summary
The floorboards seemed to smack into her boots as if she had dropped from a great height. There was gravity again; her memories of just how it worked had been blunted after two years without it. Standing seemed to be a more complex and involved process than she had ever given it credit for. Her arms were limp and her knees bent no matter how much she tried to keep her legs straight. She dropped. Her head was too heavy; her neck felt far too thin to support it. This was increasingly seeming like a bad idea. Wait. Some muscle memory seemed to kick in. Her body responded, trying to keep itself in one piece. The backs of her thighs, ankles and knees burned as her body tensed. She rocked back on her heels, balance just about there as her knuckles brushed the floor. With effort she dragged her hands up to her lap. Other senses now intruded - a sensory rush of information bordering on the overwhelming. More focused and direct than sensation in the Lifestream, but also less controllable, so much more intense.
After returning to life, Aeris tries to find her place in the world again.
