"Oh, it's-." Tifa halted, a yawning sensation opening in her stomach. What was Cloud's favorite colour? And like water through a broken dam more questions flooded into her thoughts. Did he like dogs or cats more? What had he wanted to be when he grew up before his desire to emulate Sephiroth? What was his favourite television program, film, band, book? She felt dizzy, only stopped from clutching at her own head in shock by the sight of a confused and now nervous Marlene.
A chance question from Marlene makes Tifa realise all the things she doesn't know about Cloud.

Both Tifa and Yuffie's heads snapped around to look at Shelke, though, Yuffie tore her gaze away to stare at Tifa and then back to Shelke. Tifa's face felt like it was on fire.
"What are you talking about?"
"Tifa Lockhart visited her doctor three days ago for an unscheduled appointment. A blood test was administered and the results of the chemical analysis indicate that she is at the early stages of pregnancy."
The kitchen fell silent and Tifa turned to look at Yuffie who had a dazed look on her face, the beginning of a grin tugging at her lips. Turning back to Shelke, Tifa got as far as "How did-" when Yuffie started shouting.
The Seventh Heaven and Avalanche family is about to get bigger.

This is my Final Fantasy VII Alternate Universe series. It's based on the original game only and doesn't take into account the later games or the movie, as it was started way back in 1998. What would have happened had someone simply told Sephiroth the truth? This series explores that question and the first story, Irony of Fate, loosely follows the main events in the game with some alterations, of course. But then my AU continues on afterwards in my other fics, 6 in total at the moment. All but Internal Warfare are complete.
