Learning to throw a punch won’t fix this. Becoming a writer won’t fix this. This is Davey’s, his whole life. Familial expectations, familial duties. Jack doesn’t change a thing.
So, Davey packs it away. Boxes it up tight, ships it to the North Pole, and lets it go. He tries to enjoy this, his friend over for dinner, everyone happy and smiling. He succeeds, he thinks.

They stay in Brooklyn most of the time, Race visits every once in a while but they haven’t gone back together in a long time.
