During his final patrol for the day, Halsin finds a lost little girl in the woods surrounding the village, abandoned by her own flesh and blood. Quickly taking her back home to check up on her, he and Tav will need to find out what happened to her and where her parents are. Thankfully, they have a lot of friends willing to help with that.
The girl's parents better watch out before they get the hero of Baldur's Gate and a furious papa bear after them...

You are not to move from his spot until that time is up.” She pressed her dagger forward, carving a thin line across the skin of his neck. He found that perhaps the most disarming, ethereal beauties in this world were also the most eccentric; it didn't make anything about her pale, but rather highlighted everything that belonged to that strange world in which the bard reigned supreme.As Halsin helps a group of adventurers, he finds his dormant heart stirring for the party’s leader, a tiefling whose charm has been crafted to perfection from her profession as a courtesan and her bardic skills, and threatens to awake feelings that have stayed unperturbed for the last century.
