Standing before your current destiny is never something anyone is truly prepared for, it’s at the very least an overwhelming experience for any regular Joe. But, I’d go out on a limb here to say it’s especially troubling when that destiny you’re standing before turns out to be a shallow, self indulged green dwarf who can shoot lighting from his hands.

Jack shakes his head behind the easel. That boy. Image issues all the way. Jack might not like his current stature either, but at least he knows his skin is flawless in any form he assumes. Merlin’s issues with his appearance are more than skin-deep.

Just this once. Red Riding Hood needs me! She begged me to save her, send me a letter about this horrific battle she was about to undergo, said she needed my support, my help, my sword! It’s deep in the dark woods and I know she’s a girl who can take care of herself, but I’m worried about her! Please help me!’’
And hoping to the gods above that Excalibur would listen, he pulled on the sword with all his might. It slid out of the stone so easily, his force not needed at all, that he lost his balance and fell off the stone, the sword slipping out of his hand and landing a hairsbreadth away, in front of his nose. Arthur swallowed thickly. That only just went right, if it’d been any closer Red Riding Hood would have had to introduce a noseless tiny green man to her family.

“Well, this is easily the dumbest idea you’ve had since at least the Griffin Incident,” Merlin says flatly. The entrance hall of Netherfield Park isn’t actually terrible and someone has clearly made a concentrated effort to spruce up prior to their arrival at the manor, but there’s an unsettling smell that’s making Merlin’s nose itch.

Once Upon a Time, there was a land called Fairytale Land. In this land, many characters from your fairytales make a home here. Some you might know, such as Snow White, Red Riding Hood, and many other legendary heroes of stories and myths. However, in this story, there is more to what meets the eye. As while the land is peaceful most times, there are times where fearsome monsters and terrible witches terrorize the citizens. And that is when they call the Fearless Seven, a band of brave, young, extraordinary heroes that fought to keep the land safe. But one day, they just vanished. Not a trace of them left or any news of them in over a year.
Sometime later, a young maiden of the name, Snow White, was celebrating her seventeenth birthday with her father, King White. When suddenly, a mysterious, strange woman comes to pay her respects to the king. King White is enraptured by her beauty and soon marries this woman. However, things are not all that they seem, and it is up to Snow to figure out what is happening with her Kingdom and hope that she can find the Fearless Seven to help her.

Summary

The sudden approach by a Lord Pendragon does make her pause however, his sweet and concerned eyes appearing to be almost horrifyingly sincere as he offers to help her with her family issues. She doesn’t trust him, he’s not the first to claim to be her savour for purely selfish reasons, but something tells her that there’s something more to him, and not in a bad way.
