[ON HIATUS] Everything has its price, especially freedom.
Ivalice is a region fraught with war. Many have died as a result of the Archadian Empire's quest for power. Those who have lost loved ones and their homelands have chosen to pick up the sword or kneel to its might.
After a mysterious dream, Valerie wakes up in the middle of a snowstorm with no recollection of her past and her life under threat. Left with no other choice, she's forced to flee and is given a mission to help the chosen one in their mission. A ring, a stone, and an irreparable airship are the only clues to unlocking the memories buried deep within the recesses of her mind.
Then, one night, fate causes her to meet a dangerous man whose destiny and past are more intricately intertwined with hers than either could possibly imagine. He and their unlikely group of friends will be her only means of survival as they're thrust into the middle of a political conflict that threatens all of Ivalice. And he will be the only one who can save her as she faces the demons hidden inside her heart and uncovers the mysteries of her past.

Summary
