Summary
Rian has spent his whole life, trying to be like his father. However, when he loses the girl he loves, he learns the dark truth of his so-called “masters”
However the hopes of all Thra rest not on his shoulders but on the shoulders of another…not of ThraQuasimodo spent his whole life hidden away. He feels like a worthless coward for failing to save his friend Esmeralda.
However he soon finds himself in another world; a world with strange creatures known as Gelfling, ruled over by a dark force. He learns of a prophecy that says only together a human and Gelfling will save the dying planet. He soon learns much more than he could ever possibly dream. Can he and Rian and the rest of their friends bring balance to Thra once more or will he in turn be swallowed by the darkness.

Inspired by the anons over on /aco/ of 4chan and hoping to inspire more art of an erotic nature, I'm not sure how many chapters this will be. I wrote this first chapter originally on 4chan as a sort of challenge to myself to post a story in snippets and quite liked it. I now the present the first story in its entirety with a few tweaks and edits.

Commission/trade with myfanartblogplusshippingtrash on Tumblr! They gave me an outline based on JM Lee's novels that basically asked: What was Rian doing for most of the story? How did he get from points A to B? And, most importantly, how did he find Deet, who only briefly appears as his companion near the end of Flames of the Dark Crystal?
This is a Stonegrot fic with some mature themes (however, they are not explicit and ultimately I've rated it T+). Some things are AU, but overall this is set firmly in the novel canon, which is different from the series canon, and the characters are slightly different as well. It's been a fun challenge!
