This is supposed to be a rewrite for my first ever regretevator fanfiction: the regretevator writing dump/oneshots (aka regretefic) from wattpad. It is a canon divergence fic so you will see weird headcanons (the good weird type of things.)
This fic won't be a one shot thing; it'll be a conscience story separated into 3 main parts or 'books' for short. all of them will be published separately due to the sheer size of it. I might make side chapters if the time allows it.

The words made the goddess tense slightly before she forcibly relaxed her posture. Oh, how she wanted to kiss him, to gently press her lips on his own twisted ones and bury her face into him, to tell him how much he meant to her, to tell him she wanted to make him single for not a moment longer.
But he thinks of her as a sister.
So, she instead sighed. "Pat, pat. It's alright, Spud...you'll find that special somebody someday, assuring expression."
She wishes that special somebody was her.

Life in this elevator-connected world was a rather mundane one. Even though everyone has different ideals in mind, everything boiled down to essentially the same formula: do your thing, get on the elevator, talk to the people currently on it, get off at a floor every now and then, go home, and get ready to do it all again tomorrow.
Again, mundane. But no one seemed to complain. Rather, they enjoyed this sense of routine. This never-ending cycle.
Life in this world was a rather mundane one.
But that was about to change.

Gnarpy was the co-leader of the gnarpian army at just 16 years of age, even for gnarpians that was impressive. Xe has led missions before successfully and had done so much for gnarpian kind. But xyr UFO crashed several months ago and xe hasn't been saved. Every night xe waits at Two Stud Camp for some gnarpian troup to find xem, but none ever come. Months of being alone with so-called lesser life forms leaves a lot of time to think, especially when one of your test subjects is right there at that floor with you.
Sarah worked at the two stud camp with frank, he was the closet thing she had to a father figure. She remembers so clearly the nights he was gone, and even more clearly the night he came back. But the being behind him is something she'll never forget. That thing took everything away from her. She doesn't think she could ever forgive that thing.
But that being was infront of her sobbing.
