    Shadow was finally best friends with Sonic, he could entrust his life with the other and he knew Sonic would do the same.

    But now? Shadow questions if he was even worthy to be called such a thing in the first place, reason being? He betrayed the one person who understood him more than anyone, even Rouge. He left him for dead in the hands of ruthless scientists that could dissect him until there was nothing left of him.

    Shadow knows that if Sonic was in his place, he would not care about the public and do his best to protect and help Shadow, he would not let Shadow be chained, he would not let Shadow be muzzled, he would not let Shadow be forcefully shoved into an E.P.F van as all his green emerald eyes held was fear and terror as he drastically looked around wordlessly begging for help as he stared Shadow dead in the eyes when all he did was nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing NOTHING NOTHING-

    Shadow should have done something. Then maybe, just maybe, he wouldn’t be so disappointed in himself for betraying a person he cares about for the second time.

Even Optimus soon feels his wall falling away slowly the more time is spent with this girl, he learns there is more to humans than meets the eye. And when a darker threat reveals itself in a way they never though possible, and a possible way back to Cybertron, Optimus sees the courage in this girl even more. Something he finds himself surprised that she is willing to help him.

    And soon enough, his cold exterior may have just fallen away. Or could his processor be mistaken?
