      “Ad’ika,” Walon said, rubbing a tired hand over his jaw. “You need to understand something. Fixer is the way he is because I made him that way, and I made him that way because of you.” He eyed Scorch hard and pointed at him with his first two fingers. The gesture was as Vau as his sophisticated accent and judgemental glares- he'd grown up at the whim of that signalled command. "You- both of you, you and Sev- were outside of acceptable ranges for mental aptitude. You don’t know how close you were to being pulled and reconditioned. It was on the table more than once. Fixer was trained to be Sev’s balance, and your control. He was shaped to know the boundaries and keep you in them. It was that, or break the pod."

      "I had a theory," he started again, much quieter, "that the clones' tendencies for strong social bonding could be… best weaponized, for lack of a better term, if you were kept together from decanting. So I trained pods together and shaped them into units, whereas Skirata and Bralor and Gilamar put their men in a pool and grouped them by aptitude. They were trying to build men. I was building squads. It was completely uncharted territory. We were guessing. But more of my squads survived because of it." At some point, Walon had stopped addressing Scorch directly and was speaking at the floor between them. "I'm not sorry for what I did, though it did have its faults."

      “Fixer is a rule follower because the rules kept you all alive. They kept his pod together. When you fell apart, he had to hold the line. He didn’t want to turn you in- he just didn’t want you to leave. What would have happened if you’d gone back for Sev, or refused to shoot those padawans?” He gestured sharply, dismissively. “I’ll spell it out for you: you’d have been killed. He would have failed. Without him, you’d have been dead a hundred times over.” Walon paused for a beat, then added, low and privately, "Scorch, why do you think I started calling him Fixer?"

    We all love our clone boys and we all want to see them happy. That’s exactly what this is. May I introduce to you the Auxillary Support Squadron (ASS), made up of a group of brave Republic volunteers coming to the aid of the GAR during the time of the clone wars. The story will be a collection of one shot reader inserts with different clones and different members of ASS. These characters will be loosely fleshed out but leave space for you to imagine yourself in their shoes. I’m hoping that each character will have some sort of nickname to differentiate them through the different stories. I will add warnings for each one shot. It is not my intention to copy anyone’s ideas though I do know there are many of these types of stories out there. These were written largely for my own enjoyment but I’d like to share them with all of you in this time of need for the fandom. Enjoy!

There's also another clone here, except he says he's not a clone. The Mandalorians with Mereel are very concerned about this lost child, even if he seems ready to bite them if they get too close.

    ... Sev is only the first Jango Fett clone to be dropped back into the galaxy long before the vode are meant to be created.

    Being the great granddaughter of Satele Shan brings expectations that Alora Shan has outperformed her entire life, until she fell out of favour with the Council and became too outspoken about the code to be taken seriously.

    She is dubious about swapping the Delta Squad for the Torrent Squad when Anakin requests the need for her squad's expertise, but not even the Council gives her the choice. Commanding Torrent for several months would've been fine, had one man in particular not taken issue with her.

    Fives is confident, full of convictions, a fierce fighter, and annoyingly handsome. And he was going to be the death of her - literally.

    Fives does not like his new General. What started as one joke, spiralled into his suspicions about where her true loyalties lie in this war, and he wasn't stopping until he found out what she was up to, no matter how gorgeous she was.

    He'd figure out what she was hiding, if it's the last thing he does.

    Even if maybe he was wrong all along.
