Summary
I'm sure there's a million of these by this point but here's my take.
In classic "oh god not again!" fashion, I wanted to write a silly little fic where starclan makes firestar restart his life to try and save more cats. He gets a little hissy about it but it's mostly in character (I did my best). He joins thunderclan sooner, is raised by frostfur, and lies about being touched by starclan so he can help his clan (or all the clans) through the dangerous times ahead - hopefully this time with less bloodshed.
just for fun. I don't usually write fanfiction, especially not for this fandom. don't take it too seriously if I get anything wrong either. I also might change some things if I want to.

Fire alone Will Save Our Clan
ThunderClan has entered an era of war and hunger, with RiverClan threatening their borders and ShadowClan threatening their children. Noble warriors are dying- some in worse ways than others.
In this midst of the turmoil, Collin, a simple boy from the nearby town, joins ThunderClan, hoping to save them from a terrible fate. However, the Clan-born warriors do not trust him, and he must prove every day that he is worthy of the warrior title.

Summary

Summary
Cats of all Clans lament the specific tragedy of kits who die young, never to experience the joys of life.
Mosskit doesn't really see it that way, not when it turns out that while she's stuck in the body of a child, her perspective reaches far wider than the average adult warrior.
Because when you're in Starclan you can watch over the material plane for miles of land and see thousands of different denizens, some of which are storytellers, of...various mediums.

Rusty, a plucky young house cat, decides it's high time for him to go out into the world, and explore the world of the Clans, which his father called home. All he's hoping for is a good time, maybe some new friends, and possibly meeting his father, but he has no clue about the rabbit hole he's fallen into.
(An alternate timeline of events for Into the Wild, in which I hope to possibly fix a lot of the story details that lots of fans find unsatisfactory. Such as story lines that go nowhere, lost potential, lacking character development, and the like. I'm not claiming to be any better than the original- I love the original, obviously. But, this is how I would have written Warriors if I'd been at the helm.)
All characters belong to Erin Hunter and Harper Collins. I only own the writing itself (some of these AU ideas I lowkey stole from other people.)
