Summary
When Moiraine gets accepted at the prestigious University of Tar Valon, her life path seems set: she will study what will benefit her family the most, marry the man they picked for her, and eventually take over her uncle’s business. But when she meets Siuan, she slowly comes into herself, stepping out of her family’s looming shadow.

Moiraine reaches a hand towards Siuan's and taps it. "Stop it," she says gently, a smile tugging at one corner of her mouth. Her own dark hair is loose around her shoulders and curling softly at the ends, a pair of gold wire-rimmed glasses framing her sapphire blue eyes. The sight of her is so endearing that Siuan wants to simply grab her and kiss her.
Though of course, she can't. Even though she wants it more than anything. Because Moiraine clearly thinks that they're just friends, even if she hasn't explicitly said anything about it.
That thought still doesn't stop her from wanting to kiss Moraine anyway. While Moiraine continues working, Siuan secretly steals glances at her- taking in every detail of her, from her beautifully high cheekbones to the cute little slope of her nose and her perfect skin. Lower still, to the contours of her jaw and neck, the lines of her collarbones, the curve of her waist. She could stare at Moiraine for hours, and would never tire of doing it.
The same smile flits across Moiraine's face as she notices Siuan looking at her. "What?"
